About BocaPhysics

BocaPhysics was founded in 2015, although the germ of the idea was conceived several years earlier. The mission of BocaPhysics is to produce- and make available for free- video lectures on topics central to the education of physics and engineering majors and lectures on special topics.

BocaPhysics lecturer, Dr. Eva Horvath, has ten years of experience teaching physics in the classroom. As a graduate student, Dr. Horvath worked on computational models of condensed matter systems. A number of years after completing her formal education, she became interested in SCRAMjets and magnetohydrodynamic(MHD) propulsion.

BocaPhysics team members are volunteers, and BocaPhysics receives absolutely no financial support from any government entity. Equipment and software used to produce BocaPhysics video lectures and simulations were donated.

We hope these lectures and simulations help you build a solid foundation in electromagnetism.
